Caveat emptor. Instagram v Reality. The photo on the left is what i wanted and my hand is on the right. Then the nail person asked if I wanted to add a scrub to my parent foot and wax. I said yes, not knowing the price. When I checked out At the salon, my cost was $110. I’ve never paid that much for a manicure in my life and I never will again. Total rip off.
This was my first time at Bellacures, and I never write Google reviews, and like to consider myself pretty low maintenance. However, this experience was so upsetting and honestly ridiculous that I couldn’t just let it slide. They brag about their “cleanliness policy” like it sets them apart, but it’s really just a dressed-up excuse to save money. Update: Liz reached out to me personally and invited me back to the salon for a manicure. Titi took care of me and did a great job—I really liked how it turned out. I appreciate the opportunity to return and receive such good service. I opted for a mini manicure because I was short on time, but the service was extremely disappointing. They didn’t even remove my previous polish and were finished in under six minutes. I’m a visitor to the city. Salon provided a friendly welcome, comfy chair and a competent technician to do my manicure. Not the best salon I’ve ever been to but I’m happy with the service I received.
This place is disgusting. Every surface appears to be dirty. The nail techs are sloppy and careless. Within 3 minutes of a pedicure the nail tech cut my cuticle and I started bleeding. I told her she was being to rough and I saw that she was moving faster than her stills allowed. At that point I ended the appointment. These employees need more training safety and comfort should be a priority.
