This morning I had the best blow dry from Hussein who is a senior stylist at Daniel Galvin Kensington. From the time you entered the salon we were greeted by Jamila the receptionist who was warm and welcoming and I was immediately ushered in to have my hair washed by Doris who was so sweet. Once seated in Hussein’s chair I felt very comfortable watching him blow dry my hair with knowledge and speed…. The staff are lovely and super friendly but unfortunately my experience was beyond awful. Not what I’d expect here at all. And ridiculous that when refunded they didn’t refund the cost of olaplex, which is just shocking considering the damage that was caused to my hair and the fact that I wouldn’t have had anything done if I was consulted properly at the start and not at my third visit. Definitely won’t be coming back. Only giving one star because the staff were lovely but very unhappy overall.
I’ve been here before for a cut so decided to go again. Cheryl was amazing and I can not recommend her enough. She clearly knows what she’s doing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly that. She also advised me on how to maintain the style afterwards. Friendly service from the front desk to the lady who washed my hair. Would definitely come again. Thanks Cheryl!
Alessandro Calvio is truly amazing!!!!! I have known him for many years now and think that he is one of the best hairstylists in the world! He is very professional, loves what he is doing and has a very personal approach to each client. Alessandro Calvio is truly one of the best hair stylists in the world. I have been visiting him for years and every cut is delivered with immense care and attention to detail. The real proof of an excellent haircut is what your hair looks like a month or two after your cut and Alessandro excels in this regard. The salon is bright and staff are friendly.
