This hotel is beautifully located overlooking the river Dart. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean & many little extras are provided. The food is delicious & there is plenty of choice. A short walk away is Dartmouth with plenty of River Cruises to various places available. The re are also some nearby eateries if you require a change of dining.
Still have a policy of not serving non residents, was brought in for covid but not removed. Can have lunch in the bar area if you book a room. How can booking a room safeguard the residents. Needs to sort it's self out. Having a drink on the lawn is nice "cloud nine" but wierd and wonderful opening hours, can't guarantee it ever being open!!
I would like to thank the entire hotel team for the excellent treatment and exquisite service. We have spent a super relaxed week. By the way, magnificent kitchen. Enjoyed day 1 of our 5 night much needed break away. Enjoying a deluxe room. Great food & staff lovely. Highly recommend so far.
Visited for afternoon tea. The customer service from our waiter (cannot recall his name!) was impeccable. The afternoon tea was possibly the best we have all tried with beautiful views.
