I’ve been seeing Tessa at Fingerbang for the last 8 or so months and it’s been amazing. She’s so good! I’ve seen other artists in Portland before that operate out of a private studio, and I prefer the environment at Fingerbang full of artists. If I have a schedule conflict or if Tessa gets sick, my nails can still be fixed by someone trustworthy at the salon and I love that. I have been going to Fingerbang for almost 4 years. I’ve always had the amazing luck to be able to be seen by the one and only Traze. What can I tell you about Traze: her imagination and creativity is unparalleled, she is kind and caring. She’s always ready to tackle any challenge you throw her way. If you decide to go to Fingerbang in Portland, ask for an appointment with Traze, you will not be disappointed. Prepare to get your nails rocked!
I’ve been coming to Finger Bang for 2 years and have seen Tessa for a majority of that time. Prior to coming here I had manicures on and off for years but always left feeling disappointed or that my manicures never lasted. I have never once felt that way about a manicure from Finger Bang. Tessa is a phenomenal person and incredibly talented nail tech. I had a great experience with Maria. I showed her a couple of different pictures and she brought the vision to life. I had the simple art option done.
I really don’t like leaving bad reviews. However, when you are booking an appointment, please be mindful of the tech you receive. From all the photos reposted on Instagram, you would assume any tech would be able to achieve any look. Especially this simple look. But that’s not the case. I wish my tech had been honest that she couldn’t give me the look I wanted. And/or wasn’t trained in the airbrush technique. But they weren’t honest and I left truly unhappy.
