the salon is spacious, i've never smelled the typical "nail salon fumes", and they have some great nail artists who can do very elaborate and trendy nail art, with polishes that not many other portland salons stock. though it is a little out of the way for me and some additional details need to be taken in account (they have a strict policy, location's close to the trains, limited parking), i've found the service/experience worth it. Liliana gave me the best manicure I’ve ever gotten. She was meticulous and precise. Super friendly and gentle experience. I got exactly what I asked for! The vibes are always so great at this nail art studio.
Ruined my trans child’s birthday. I scheduled the appointment ahead of time, called and made sure they would work with us without any discrimination, and even received text conversations regarding the appointment and what my 8yr old would like done for their birthday. They cancelled my appointment and I just found out upon arriving here with my child and they have no technician available to do their nails for their birthday..
I love it here! I’ve been going to Linh and she’s phenomenal, but all the nail techs are incredibly talented and sweet. The prices are a bit more expensive, but the artists 100% are worth it. Also better prices means better pay, which means everyone working there is obviously happy to be there and loves their job. I recommend doing mystery art since you really get to let whoever’s doing your nails to show off their artistry. Incredible place with great vibe and talented nail artists! I’m visiting PDX for business and was lucky enough to secure a session at the branch ( I later learnt that they will be merging the two salons). Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely girls at the reception and was offered something to drink and a wide variety of colors to choose from.
