Our Queen Village location was the first of the three we've opened throughout the years. This campus made its debut in June of 1987 in a historical area of Philadelphia. This location features 11,000 square feet with 62 styling stations all within a historically certified carriage house. This unique Philadelphia location gives students the chance to explore city life without being swept up in the hustle and bustle of a larger, busier city.

Absolutely loved my experience - Everybody was Super friendly- Liz & Ms J listened to exactly what I wanted, and nailed the result. I’m so happy with my hair — will definitely be back! 💇♀️✨
A bit perplexed at the decline over the course of four appointments. The first & second times I went in, I was happily surprised that - in spite of being one of the only men in the room - that the students were able to switch from the normal styling they'd been doing to a more traditional shave / fade. The teachers were a relatively constant presence, offering my student tips and criticisms to make sure I left with a serviceably solid haircut. As others have mentioned, the cuts are long, but given that these are students,... read more

Two main reasons for this: a) it’s a learning environment which is totally okay; and b) if you’re getting your hair colored they don’t use heat to process it and therefore and especially if you have dark hair this will take forever!! Every time I’ve come here the color looks great but moving forward I will t... read more

Great services at a great price. Pleasantly surprised at how busy and lively the place was and that even for the first appointment of the day, the students and staff were in a great mood and ready for the day. Looking forward to b... read more
I had a truly awful experience at Jean Madeline during a balayage appointment. I originally booked with a student through Instagram, but she was a no-show—completely unprofessional. The staff offered to reassign me to another student, assuring me she was quick and skilled. During the consultation with her and an instructor, I made it clear I didn’t want to be any blonder, just wanted more dimension. They claimed to understand. As the student started, she casually said she’d never get her hair done at Jean Madeline because sh... read more
