I had a great experience here! I was initially hesitant because I’ve never had my hair done by students before but the experience and haircut was great! Anaya was very sweet and she did an amazing job with my cut, wash and blow-out! She refreshed my layers and curtain bangs and my hair looks a lot healthier now! The students are being guided and supervised by their instructors so I wasn’t worried at all! 10/10 recommend :)
This place is those who never mind to experiment. I don’t recommend this place for hair cut or styling. I took their service. First of all the service depends on whom you have been assigned with. The lady who did my simple hair cut , took 4hours+ and was super irresponsible and didn’t care at all. I understood it before she started cutting my hair while she was shampooing hair she almost burnt me multiple times with high heat water. I would not recommend the place for hair coloring at all. This post can become too long but I will give a short version. I understand that they are students but they are really inexperienced. I ended up with a student who didn’t even know how to shampoo. She left shampoo in my hair and of course toner as well. I wanted a dark chocolate color but she bleached my hair from black to pale blond. Toner she applied made my hair orange/copper. I was quite frustrated at this point. I recently visited the salon for a haircut. The students at Jean Madeline Aveda Institute were meticulous and thorough in their work. The instructors ensured quality control and provided guidance throughout the process. Although the haircut took a bit longer than usual, I am very pleased with the results.
Amazing! For my first time in a beauty salon school, I was left impressed. My student (Adrian) was super professional and lovely to talk to. The teachers are there for anything the students need, and they make sure the quality of the work is met. Highly recommend.
