My friend gifted me a Groupon here for the 90 minute reflexology and body massage. Overall, great massage and all staff I encountered were relatively friendly. Kume Spa was very clean and I really enjoyed my massage. I would definitely come back again, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because they charge a $5.00 fee for using Groupon. Making the appt same day was convenient. The room was not warmed up enough and I later informed the front desk of this and suggested a heated bed or blanket would have been great. The PROBLEM I had was -after reporting my injuries to the front desk and indicating the problem areas on the form on the clipboard- the massage therapist continued to apply WAY too much pressure directly on my injured area. I had an extremely bad experience. the staff double booked on a time slot that I had booked first, I had to wait 30 minutes because of their mistake. We came in for a couples massage, my partner and I reserved two different massages, due to inadequate communication between the front desk and the masseuse, they mixed up our massages and realized their mistake over half way through the massage after I told them. Highly recommend Jeremy - he is an extremely skillful masseuse and focused exactly on the areas I need requested. I get massages fairly often and it was one of the best I’ve ever had, with consistent deep pressure while also being very relaxing. Will definitely be back to see him!
