I’m not new to receiving massage services with Kume, but I wanted to explore their menu a little more. I booked for the Korean Style Body Scrub yesterday and my experience was great! I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my appointment and started the Infrared Sauna. If you’re not comfortable in a smaller enclosed space then I would not suggest the Infrared Sauna. ⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ve been to Kume Spa many times and usually had wonderful experiences, but my last visit for a body scrub was absolutely awful and, most importantly, unsafe. They sent me to a completely different location outside of the actual spa, with the entrance tucked next to a bike shop. From the start, the place looked sketchy and nothing like a professional spa. I remember loving Kume when they first opened and the service was exceptional. But as they expanded with their locations and services, their quality unfortunately declined while pricing increased. I do go back every so often to hopefully be proven wrong over the years, but I have yet to be convinced. Recently I came back for a full body massage and foot massage, both on separate sessions, both I have come to the conclusion I will not be going back again, for good. I was a long time customer of this business since 2017. I stopped visiting after the shooting incident between two workers during the pandemic that killed one of them. I thought I’d stop by and give them another chance because I really loved this place back in the day only to find out it took a major downgrade. From the rude, disorganized staff to subpar massages. These people are aggressive and mean spirited which created a troubling vibe for a spa. I feel robbed of an experience I deserved.

My daughter and I found Kume on Grand through a Groupon. What a great spa. The place is really chill and accommodating. They sell CBD gummies at the front counter and offer short and long (30-90) time frames to cover different schedules and budgets. They clearly encourage repeat customers with the membership deals. They even have a special cut out cushion to accommodate prenatal massage. We each did a 90 min combo starting with a 45 min reflexology foot spa w/salt scrub add on and finishing w/45 min massage.
