We had a wonderful stay at the Loews Regency, booked through Amex Fine Hotels. We’ve also stayed at The Standard East Village and The Plaza. The Standard has a fun, 1980s-style charm and great Amex upgrades, but it’s more casual and less polished, with older elevators and a distinctly East Village vibe. The Plaza and the Regency, by contrast, feel much more refined and elegant, fitting their Upper East Side locations. The Loews Regency is the best hotel we have ever stayed in NYC! From the attentive precheck in emails, to the incredibly friendly staff, I can’t say enough! We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation from high school and had the most attentive service from Kennedy, Rosina, Robert, Bernardo and others that I did not get their names. From the Terrific Service from everyone, Managing Director, Mr. Maibach, Director of VIP Services. Mr. Koliopoulos, Director of Dining, Mr. Gracia, and additionally the staff members that went above and beyond, Mizan, Atika, Munna, and Food/Beverage Director Maujt, our stay was simply incredible. The location was fabulous, walkable to Rockefeller Center and the holiday events, as well as Radio City and Central Park; we had the best time. We stayed at the Lowe's forva long weekend to attend a wedding. The whole experience was the best hotel experience we have ever had. Checking was quick and easy. The whole process from dropping g of the car to entering our room was less than 10 minutes. One tip is to use the app to check in it really helps. Everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The hotel location is convenient for a walk in central park. We will definitely go back!

I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and the Loews Regency stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless, clean, and elevated. The rooms were beautiful—immaculately clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Every detail, from the linens to the lighting, felt thoughtfully considered.
