Prepare to be nickel-and-dimed. A $50 egg white omelette — with no toppings included. Want veggies included - pay extra. Rollaway bed? $50. High-speed internet for meetings? Extra. Quiet office space for a meeting? Also extra. Oh by the way, doens't include a desk or chair. LOL. This is being marketed as a five-star experience. I’ve traveled extensively and stayed at hundreds of hotels worldwide, and I have never encountered this level of add-on charging for basic amenities. Beautiful hotel! Great safe location, close to everything, but not too close, just right. Hotel staff is friendly, efficient, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the building is older but has old Park Ave New York charm. We had a lovely street view so we could see the snow covered trees from our window. I love the Loews Regency. The location is perfect and it is a very quiet hotel. I have stayed many times over the years and see the same welcoming faces each time I check in. Everyone is very friendly and polite. I think it says a lot when a hotel has a very low turnover of staff.

I recently spent fifteen days at this hotel recovering from an ankle surgery, so I had very limited mobility. The hotel—and especially the staff—was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly kind and supportive and helpful, including the managers, the room service folks, the receptionists, the valets, the team at the lobby restaurant, and most of all the housekeeping team (shout-out to the seventh floor team and especially the amazing Donna!). Let’s start! My friends and I had an amazing time there. The room was super clean, and everything was just perfect. The room service and food were excellent — honestly, everything was outstanding! We had breakfast and OMG… it tasted so good 😍 Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite was a delight.
