Tried out a new barber today—Alison—and I’m glad I did. Got a skin fade and it came out super fresh. Alison was friendly, professional, and had great manners throughout. The shop itself was clean and spacious, with a relaxed vibe. I originally chose it because it’s just two blocks from my job at Sony Music, but I’ll definitely be coming back because of the quality and service. Highly recommend!
Got a great skin fade at Made Man Barber Shop near Madison Square Park. My barber, Henry is a talented professional, was meticulous and clearly experienced—especially when it came to beard work (he’s even certified in it). The attention to detail was impressive throughout I don’t have much of a beard yet, but when I do, I’ll definitely be back to put his skills to the test Sorry for to poor photography Henry!

Went in for men’s haircut and hot towel shave. Got a decent haircut but the worst shave of my life, looks like I did it in the dark without a mirror and got more nicks than when I do it myself. When I first felt my face it felt a little raw and rough, didn’t think much of it - then when looked into the mirror I noticed that a bunch of hairs were just missed and others weren’t fully shaved.
