The staff was super nice and friendly, which I really appreciated. However, I’m not sure if their nail polishes are old or what, but my gel manicure started chipping within a week. I called, and thankfully, I was still within the 6-day warranty to have them redone. I got them fixed on Friday, and by Tuesday, they were already chipping again. Anna was so bad I came home and re-did my nails. I got a no polish mani but my cuticles were wonky and I had to re-file my nails because it was so badly cut/filed. She didn’t even cut me nails evenly. I don’t understand how she’s “miniluxe certified”? She rushed through it so what did I expect? Not to mention me toe nail polish came home the moment I left the store. And just messy. Cannot believe I payed money for this. Will never go back.
Update: After reaching out about my concerns, I was invited back for a complimentary fix. The staff was professional and welcoming during my second visit, and they took the time to reshape and refine the Gel-X extensions (blue set). Now my nails look much more natural and clean, which is exactly what I was hoping for in the first place. Had a really great experience at the Brookline location! Got a gelx mani with nail art and a gel pedi. The atmosphere was great, and I was so glad to have Nari as my nail tech for my gelx extensions + nail art as you can definitely tell how skilled they are Tina did my pedicure and they were super friendly and attentive! My pedi is flawless! This was my first time at Brookline as I usually go to the Seaport location in Boston, but I have to say I was very impressed!!
Mani/pedi with Kelly. Dazzle dry polish for both. Kelly was very nice and did a beautiful job. The leg and arm massage were much needed. I felt much better. The salon is pretty and clean.
