Update: After reaching out about my concerns, I was invited back for a complimentary fix. The staff was professional and welcoming during my second visit, and they took the time to reshape and refine the Gel-X extensions (blue set). Now my nails look much more natural and clean, which is exactly what I was hoping for in the first place. Had a really great experience at the Brookline location! Got a gelx mani with nail art and a gel pedi. The atmosphere was great, and I was so glad to have Nari as my nail tech for my gelx extensions + nail art as you can definitely tell how skilled they are Tina did my pedicure and they were super friendly and attentive! My pedi is flawless! This was my first time at Brookline as I usually go to the Seaport location in Boston, but I have to say I was very impressed!!
Anna was so bad I came home and re-did my nails. I got a no polish mani but my cuticles were wonky and I had to re-file my nails because it was so badly cut/filed. She didn’t even cut me nails evenly. I don’t understand how she’s “miniluxe certified”? She rushed through it so what did I expect? Not to mention me toe nail polish came home the moment I left the store. And just messy. Cannot believe I payed money for this. Will never go back.
I went in for my bridal nails and the entire store is welcoming and clean. The receptionist did a little consultation with me and some color testing to make sure I like it. The whole process is very smooth. Jamila did a wonderful job!!!! She is so patient and dedicated into the art, and she made sure she achieved what I was expecting. I’m 100% obsessed with my cateye gel polish, and I’m definitely coming back!
I *really* hate leaving reviews, but the polish had bubbles & wrinkles from the start, and has now almost completely chipped off after less than a week. The salon was clean and the tech was super sweet, but the quality of the polish is so bad 😭
