Super expensive. Not sure if it was the nail tech or the product, but what they are advertising as "builder gel" is definitely NOT. I had a full set done, 1.5 weeks later a full nail just fell off. I went back and they actually re-did the whole set because the tech noticed the set was not properly done. Then 1 week later 2 nails fell off. I won't go back and certainly not for the prices they are charging.
I had a very OK experience here. I was warmly greeted by the staff. The location is extremely clean. My first experience was my brows- the tech asked the appropriate questions, and the service went well. I accepted the higher price tag (compared to other salons in the area offering the same service) because the salon was spotless. The second experience was getting my nails done. Went here to get my nails done for my wedding and was so disappointed. Picked out a simple white. The artist firstly barely said a single word to me and clearly did not want to be there, which I understand but still. These nails are so lumpy and uneven it’s insane. They are the worst nails I have ever gotten! The polish has stayed on but I almost wish it hasn’t because they are so terribly done and ugly. First time ever coming to Mini Luxe and i had such a great experience! Megan was so welcoming and did a great job on doing builder gel on my nails. Highly recommend!
I’ve been a repeat customer at Miniluxe Cranston for a while because I usually enjoy their services and appreciate the attention to detail. However, my most recent visit was really disappointing. I got my nails done by someone I’ve seen multiple times before, who I know has been with Miniluxe for over five years. Normally, she paints my polish all the way up to my cuticles (which I specifically like), but this time she didn’t.
