Edit: Downgraded my rating to 1* because I broke out in an itchy rash everywhere the massage oil was used on my neck and back. ——————————— Really disappointing gel manicure/nail art and shoulder/neck massage. The gel manicure ended up on my fingers and cuticles and the nail art turned out badly (see attached pictures for what I asked for vs. what I got). The entire appointment lasted under 45 mins and cost ~$100 before tip. Don’t go to Miniluxe, it’s a waste of money for disappointing results.

I had a really awful experience. I reserved a gel polish with French tip. First off my technician didn’t even know I wanted a French tip, and then didn’t buff my nails or trim properly and brutalized my fingers, I actually bled a little after service. She rushed and was staring off in the distance the entire time like she didn’t want to be there which made me really uncomfortable and didn’t put enough layers into the gel or any care into the French tip which made it bubble up at the tips and soak deep under my nails. Pretty upsetting experience today. I’ve been coming to MiniLuxe for over 10 years and love that the company prides themselves on clean/sanitized tools. Today my technician used a drill to remove the gel on my nails rather than the file. I saw 2 other techs using drills as well. The noise alone was so aggravating and annoying. I can only imagine how many dirty nails those things have been used on. This place has gone so downhill. Recently got a very poor manicure at an independent salon and was really disappointed when it started to chip within a week. Stopped into mini luxe and Katrina was so kind and got me in immediately. My tech not only fixed my two problem nails but buffed down the others and ensured my hands look incredible when I left. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and the service was fast and efficient and made me feel much better about making it through the holidays with this set.
