I've gone to this location a few times and your experience is largely based on your stylist. I've had some of the best manicures of my life here - perfect shape, crisp long-lasting color (Book with Tina, she's fantastic!) ...And some of the worst - rough edges, uneven color, strings stuck to the polish...etc. When you have a bad experience you it can be hard to remedy and you often leave the salon with less than ideal nails. Love this salon! Super clean and I know I’m getting a solid service. I love that I can get manicures with dazzle dry polish here!
I got my nails done here and felt like I could have done a better job myself. The polish on the manicure was lumpy and uneven. For the price, this was worse and less luxurious than other places I have gone in the Boston area. I likely won't go back.
While I had a 3pm appointment, the pedicurist was almost 15 minutes late starting my appointment and there was no apology or reason why. I was rung up incorrectly by being overcharged due to a promotion not being properly applied, however was assured it was fixed. I had to call to have it corrected because it hadn't been fixed. While the new amount was charged, the incorrect charge wasn't credited back like I was told so I had to call for a second time to have it corrected.
I've had positive experiences at Miniluxe before, but I went last weekend and my $70 manicure lasted all of 12 hours before two nails came completely off. I texted them because they have a five day chip free guarantee, which is amazing, but they offered me a slot and after I said yes booked someone else in that slot and stopped responding to my texts. It was super frustrating and would have been better if they didn't pretend to have a guarantee. I'm super disappointed and won't be returning.
