Sage is the best!! I've been going to Sage to get my brows tinted and waxed for months and I have honestly never liked the way my brows look as much as when she does them. I always trust that she will do them perfectly. She is also the sweetest and super personable. I really recommend that anyone that goes in tries to book with her :))
This place is unreasonably expensive for the service it provides; there is nothing special about it. The staff are not friendly, and they don’t even ask what you want or don’t want. The person who greeted me was inattentive—I almost received the wrong service. At the end, no one assisted me; I had to get up from the pedicure chair and reach my shoes by myself. This is not my first experience here, but it keeps getting worse. I don’t think I’ll be coming back again.
Had to reschedule an appointment I made same day (technician would not have been booked) due to a childcare issue. On the phone they said no problem and moved it. Come to find out they are billing me for a late reschedule. Do not go to this overpriced scam of a venue.
I have a go to nail salon in chestnut hill but was hating the drive, so thought I would try MiniLuxe for the last 3 months. Each month (whether I booked online or via phone or in person) something was ALWAYS wrong with the booking. Yesterday I arrived for my appointment and shocker but they couldn’t find it. The woman working the front desk was rude and said there was nothing they could do. Was hoping to be wowed for $100. Appt for 11:45 and 30m later was finally taken to the pedi chair. Chair was comfortable, but felt like I couldn’t let my legs relax as the foot soak basin would move. Missed the callus on the side of my big toe (paid extra for callus removal) but did make my feet bottoms soft. I had trimmed my nails so she only had to file/buff, noticed no trimming of dead skin around the nails/cuticles.
