I had my hair cut at Nuala Morey this week by Kelsey and I’m really happy with the results. I have fine shoulder length curly hair and usually leave it too long between appointments because the idea of a cut is scary but I needn’t have worried, kelsey talked through the plan before hand I was able to explain what I do and don’t want and my mind put at ease. I had a hair cut and style with Kelsey and she was absolutely brilliant. The salon itself is always lovely but I went in the morning so it was extra lovely and peaceful. Kelsey gives great advice and is really knowledgable and attentive throughout the whole process. She communicated with me every step of the way, talking me through products and after care. Tomasina from Nuala Morey, well, where do I start. We travelled over from newport after school for my daughter's first ever 'curly girl cut' , from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and offered a number of drinks. Tomasina then sat us down and discussed in detail, how to look after and care for my daughters hair, from what products to use, to the hair dryer/diffuser, sectioning etc, which was really helpful going forward and I made sure I purchased all the same products when I got home. I had such a lovely experience with Tomasina. She really listened to what I wanted and took her time to understand my hair. She was easy to talk to, which made the whole appointment feel relaxed and comfortable. I never felt rushed, the head massage was so relaxing, and the curly cut turned out exactly how I hoped, soft, natural, and easy to style. Highly recommend!
Nuala's my favourite salon for a reason, they always get it right every time - cut or colour, service, value for money - and they're always very friendly. I've been to them for a good few years now. I think even if I didn't live close by, I would make the round trip! Tomasina was such a tonic on Saturday, friendly and intuitive, listened to what my requirements were and gave me a really lovely bouncy layered long bob, got heaps of compliments and it's so easy to style after first wash.
