I’ve been wanting to try laser hair removal for a while now but hadn’t stumbled across any Black owned studios that offered the service until I discovered Poshh. I booked the laser consult for my first appointment. I had a very pleasant experience with Paige. She was informative and kind. The owner is nice nasty beware. The $40 skin evaluation from a nurse practitioner is very fraud like. There is no skin evaluation just a foreign lady on an iPad asking you if you have any health issues and allergies to make sure you don’t verbally say you have anything that will interfere with laser treatment. The iPad nurse will ask the exact same stuff from the medical history questionnaires. There is no one looking at your skin or evaluating your problem areas to determine anything. My appointment was for a hybrid lash set at 5:30pm with the store closing at 7pm. When the tech came out to greet me her demeanor was as though she was disappointed that I had showed up to my appointment. The tech asked what style I was interested in and I shared my photo. She told me that it appeared to be more of a volume look. I expressed interest in upgrading to a volume set, however, I was told that there was not enough time to complete a volume set.
