GIRL. The GHETTO. Runnnnn. Unless you enjoy overpaying for broken nails and dealing with awful management, Soak is the place for you. I spent $230+ for nails that chipped and broke in under FOUR DAYS. I rarely leave negative reviews unless warranted, but after giving this salon management multiple chances to do the right thing, I feel it’s only fair to warn others before wasting their money. I booked in for a last minute deluxe pedi yesterday evening 19 November. Unfortunately, I arrived a ghastly 20 minutes late due to traffic and road closures from the deep south eastern suburbs (entirely my fault for arriving so late!) but they still saw me for an express pedi with some massage incorporated, which I was incredibly grateful to Chae, my tech and earth angel, for doing despite being under no obligation to; the cancelation and T&Cs are very clear. Amazing salon. I’ve been coming religiously for almost 2 years and adpre being able to have a glass of wine with my best friend while we get our nails done. But they went above and beyond today. A few days after a recent full set one of my nails cracked and I booked in to get it fixed. Not only did they fix the nail complimentary, but they gave me a free glass of wine as well! Can’t recommend enough.
Absolutely loved our visit to SOAK bar. We paid extra for cuticle care and got very close to a Russian manicure result. They also had a great choice of high quality nail polishes for those who is not a fan of gels. Jody did a great job on my nails meticulously working on my cuticle and getting the polish perfect. Mocktail just took that experience on the whole other level-will def. be back!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely loved my experience! The massage was amazing, I left feeling completely relaxed and the lychee martini was so delicious, one definitely wasn’t enough! 🥰 Such a beautiful place and lovely atmosphere, can’t wait to come back!
