I’m a graduate of about a year and in my time here an instructor asked me to write a review. Most student reviews aren’t organic. All the schools responses seem to be AI as well which is pretty half 🫏 of them. Hopefully they’ve changed since I’ve left cause the salon was not run properly. Please tip your stylist cause they see no money for the work they put into these services. My experience in Southern Careers Institute has been extraordinary. They have been very helpful and understanding. Another reason why I chose to attend Southern Careers Institute is because they make you feel welcome. Financial aid, admissions, and the education department are all willing to help. I attended this school and had a very negative experience with how the administration handled a serious situation. During my externship hours, I was placed somewhere where a man was sexually harassing me. I immediately stopped going and contacted the school to ask for another placement. I spoke with a woman from the department who said she’d look into it and call me back — but she never did.
