I recently visited Strøm over the weekend to celebrate my birthday; I felt compelled as an Anglophone to write a review after seeing an overwhelming amount of 1star reviews. My experience was very pleasant from the check-in to check-out. I did encounter staff members who did not speak English, when I asked if they spoke English I was not greeted with any unpleasantness. I had a lovely day at Storm Spa with my partner. We went on a Thursday morning and they even let us in a little before our reservation because we came early. I wouldn’t say it was full at all maybe half capacity by the afternoon. One thing I really loved was the skin care section! Being able to try the cleansing milk, a cleansing mask and a moisturizer from Storm spa was a great add on to the experience !! In terms of food, it’s on the pricier side but they do make it fancy and worth it as long as you aren’t a picky eater.... read more

Great experience, I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance which was great I didn’t have any issues this was during the holidays, the staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. The place is nice. I really enjoyed the steam rooms and sauna 🧖‍♀️. The food at the restaurant was ok. I liked that they have several places to drink water, you get thirsty. I also liked that they had a facial hydrating cream to try on. I would definitely go back.

Great Mothers Day experience. The food was good and the package gave us a glass of wine and a water bottle. We had the stone massage which was my 1st experience, and it was great. Smaller atmosphere with less people than Thermia, a relatable place in Whitby
