We had a fantastic experience at Strom Nordic Spa. I am from Australia so this was a fantastic and unique experience. I’ve always enjoyed a hot sauna then a cold shower but this takes it to the next level. Beautiful hot, dry saunas, hot spas, hot steam sauna, straight into a cold plunge pool. I've been a loyal customer of the Strom Spa company for over a decade with the first facility I ever used being in Ile-des-soeurs. I've since been to the one in Mont Saint-Hilaire and this one in Saint-Sauveur. What I really love about the one in the Laurentians is that even though the entrance to the building is next to a busy road, you could never tell because it really feels like tucked away in nature. This is a lovely facility where for a reasonable price you can spend a day wandering from hot pools to cold pools to relaxation rooms to restaurants as well as wet and dry saunas. On a cold winter's day, this place was not only beautiful, but a real treat to the soul and body. A luxurious bathrobe is provided along with plentiful towels. I had visited this spa before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was such a disappointment. We arrived early, around 10 a.m., completed registration at the reception, and were given locker keys in section C, which is located in a separate area. Out of curiosity, I also checked the locker rooms in section A, and there were available lockers and free space at that time, which made the situation even more frustrating, as there was no clear reason to send us to section C. Absolutely amazing experience! The whole staying was great, the location with the river passing, the steam baths pools are awesome, the massage was good, but not great. I'll return when I'm in Quebec again 👍🏻
