Review for Nord Resto: decadent. The presentation was excellent. We had the warm salmon atop a hasselback potato, tomato crostini and the soup of the day which was a cream of root vegetable. Everything was so fresh and flavoursome. If you want to dine in a forest with the sound of cascading water, this is the perfect spot.
K.mariax insta - Excellent visit to this spa in the winter with stunning views. The weather was about -8 degrees and it was just a beautiful scene. It was magical and I can't wait to visit again. I had a treatment prior to using the thermal spa and sauna, steam room. The little cafe had the French toast, grilled cheese and a cappuccino. All staff were helpful and approachable. Very nice and tranquil. We went on a rainy day and it was so peaceful, not a lot of people. The bridge is nearby u can hear the cars, but it’s not that disturbing. Spent 3-4 hours.
Charming little place with a beautiful scenic view. However, it’s best to avoid visiting on weekends, as it gets very crowded. For such a small facility, it seems to accept more guests than it comfortably should. The spa areas were quite small, and the changing rooms were very narrow. Lockers & Showers: In the building I was in, there were only three showers available, which led to long wait times. If you’re on a tight schedule, keep this in mind. Nice place but very small. We did a couples massage and was surprised that the thermal experience was not included when your paying for a $150 massage. We spent $550 in total to do the thermal baths and wow was it not worth it. Thinking that they would have made some upgrades or add new experiences since it used to be Polar Bear spa. When it was Polar Bear spa the thermal experiences were included with a massage. Absolutely not worth it and won’t be returning.
