Located inside Salon Lane, I visited this head spa on a Sunday afternoon. The room was initimate but, it had all the essentials: diffuser, hair dryer, product display and the block out curtains made it a relaxing environment. I tried the Amaterasu treatment and I quite enjoyed it. The therapist Laura had a very good technique for massages and was friendly. This experience was amazing. My hair has never felt so clean and silky even when I’ve gone to the hair salon. I wish I could remember what products they used because I would love to get them for home! I do understand what others have said in regards to hearing noises from other hairdressers and customers in other rooms but in all honesty, for me it wasn’t that loud and it was kind of a muffled background noise with the music that way playing and I still felt relaxed regardless. Highly recommend!Â
Jude was incredibly calm, talented and professional. I had the Tokyo Head Spa experience (intro at $165) and it was super relaxing. I’m giving 5 stars because of Jude and her amazing massage skills and overall knowledge and genuine care - however, I did notice that it was very easy to hear conversations and loud laughing for the first half coming from outside. I was given a voucher for Christmas to have the Amaterasu- The Sun Goddess, 2 hours, 40 minute experience. It was pure bliss! Rea was ever so skilled with her reflexology massage. The steam cap was a 1st for me and it was thoroughly enjoyable. They use booshie products (Oribe) & another product imported from Japan which left my hair feeling soft & my scalp really clean. Left feeling like I was floating on clouds. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Â
It's very difficult to review a place where you think the service is quite good, but yet a complete rip-off for what it is. Mainly over promoted by instagram influences, the focus should probably shift to spending marketing money on actually providing more value. Tried the tokyo experience today, which although enjoyable, was really only 40mins or so long when you minus the consult time, quick hair dry, paying etc. What it is, is very similar to the double hair wash and conditioning experience you would recieve at at good sa... read more
