I got a voucher for Christmas and have been looking forward to this experience for months now. Located in Salon Lane (Surry Hills), you check in with the main Reception by telling them which business you are there to see (Tokyo Headspa). There is a waiting area with water, tea, coffee, and your therapist/s will come to meet you, show you to the bathroom, take you to the therapy room. Chika was so sweet and kind, an amazing therapist. Study an incredible experience! Iori was so welcoming and her technique made be feel so relaxed and happy. I was comfortable and indulged! The products she used smelled amazing even hours after my head spa. Highly recommended

Lauras treatment was incredible she is an amazing therapist and the quality of products were wonderful. I would have given 5 stars but the surrounding noise levels from other salon spaces, (blow dryers and very loud conversations) that reverberate through the walls were really noisy and distracting. If I book again id want to know it was in one of your spaces that was in a quieter location.

Located inside Salon Lane, I visited this head spa on a Sunday afternoon. The room was initimate but, it had all the essentials: diffuser, hair dryer, product display and the block out curtains made it a relaxing environment. I tried the Amaterasu treatment and I quite enjoyed it. The therapist Laura had a very good technique for massages and was friendly. I was disappointed with my Orihime treatment. Similar to what others have said, don’t believe the reels and posts on instagram. Maybe it was the therapist, or lack of spa scent in the room, the terrible lighting and acoustics (yes you hear footsteps from the floor above). The oil and cream had no relaxing aroma at all. I did not feel relaxed during and after the treatment. The therapist was lovely but the overall treatment is not worth the price tag.
