This last Friday I was in need of a haircut as my stylist just retired. My wife told me to go back and try the Mario Tricoci Salon in Libertyville. Let me tell you the staff is amazing. Customer service was great our stylist was friendly but the cut was not worth what was charged. We came in to fix my daughters bangs (wanted curtain bangs) and thin her hair out. Stylist said layering would be better, we went with that. Her bangs looked exactly the same as when i brought her in and her hair was uneven and shorter than i asked.
I have been a loyal client of the Libertyville location for decades. There have been times I have not spoken up about poor service and just tolerated it. Today, however, there was a botched eyebrow waxing. After waxing, I had a triangular notch at the bottom of one of my brows that was not there before. The technician wanted to make it right. I’ve been going to this salon for color since 1998. I see Avery. She’s an amazing, talented, fun, person. I always love my color! Give her a try! Also, the front desk concierge Leah is warm, welcoming, and an a gem of an employee. She’s always cheerful and happy to help! As a Director of Sales & Marketing, these are two employees I would make sure to keep on staff!
I needed a change. I’ve had the same hairstyle for 10 yrs. I had Annalise do my color (highlights/lowlights) and Bobbi cut it. I absolutely love both! We cut about 5” off, which was scary but I love it!! With naturally curly hair, the cut makes my daily routine so much easier and the color is exactly what I had in mind!! Highly recommended!
