I have been loving my experiences here. Imagine a barber shop, but nicer like a salon, yet not snooty like a salon. They are hitting a nice balance for men where you have an upgraded experience over a barber shop without all the bells and whistles of a salon for women. Everyone is super nice and they cut hair like salon pros. The only to watch out for is check the baseball schedule before you make an appointment. It’s best to avoid the Battery during ball games for things like this.
I stumbled across VMM wandering around The Battery one Saturday, and it was like the universe was telling me I was meant to be there. Patsy has answered my calls for my head of hair I’m dealing with, and that’s saying something. She’s so warm and kind. I truly cannot give her enough praise for being a nice person with the care she provides during services. Booking, front staff a little cold-ish, but nothing to truly say about that. Just a vibe. Truly love this salon, and please give Patsy a raise.
I’ve used the same Barber for probably 25 years. He was unavailable for an extended period and I had to bridge the gap. Did a little research and found this facility Shannon listened and gave me exactly the haircut I wanted. He didn’t try to change it up or convince me to do something else. Top-notch cut.
