Just had the 1hr Sydell facial at the Cumming Ga location Well it was exactly only 44 minutes from start to finish. Glad I had a groupon and didn't pay the $90 full price. The receptionist said she would give me 15% off my next facial.. Uh no thanks I won't be back.
The worst massage I have ever had given by, what I was told, the second best at the Cumming location. I don't even feel like I had a massage. A complete waste of my time and my mother-in-laws money since this was a gift. I felt awful that I had to tell her it was so bad. I am not usually one to complain or speak up but because it wasn't my own money I feel like I must. The therapist spent no time on my wrist, hands, or lower back. I was also shorted on my minutes. I scheduled a 90 minute massage at the Perimeter location. The gentleman doing the massage brought in a space heater because he was cold, I was not. The technique was so bad and the atmosphere was not professional. I felt uncomfortable and stopped the session 10 minutes in. When Deb, the Director, met me down stairs, she tried to calm me down but I was pretty shaken up, so she made sure I left via the back door. Trust me after working for spa Sydell I would never tell anybody to go here . To any of them.
Although Cheryl did a good job they overcharged me by $96 and have yet to contact me back. I have called and emailed over 3x. POOR Customer Follow up...no wonder this company has been sold off several times
I was at the Cumming location and for my manicure/pedicure, the person who did it complained the whole time about the fact that I had gel polish on my toe nails. She was so concerned about how she was going to get it off and she had never seen anyone with gel on their toes, blah blah blah. I didn't go to be scolded. One comment from her would have been enough. It ruined my day. The massage and facial I had were great, but this took all of the relaxing I had had away.
